Marilyn and I met Dr. Emmons at the AltMedResearch Integrative Medicine Conference in Estes Park, Co in July where He was a guest speaker. Henry spoke of Resiliancy Training, an approach he champions for the prevention and recovery of depression and anxiety. Dr. Emmons approach is an integrative one blending Western Psychological approaches and Brain Chemistry Knowledge with Eastern Ayurvedic and Buddhist Wisdom. Dr. Emmons certainly has been able to take this combination of wisdoms and has woven them wonderfully into his Resiliancy Training Modality. However, the most impressive thing that comes across in the presence of Henry is the aura of love and caring which fills the room. You know when Henry is at work a small piece of this planet is being heeled one soul at a time. Thank you Henry!
Henry Emmons is a psychiatrist who integrates mind-body and natural therapies, mindfulness and Buddhist teachings, and compassion and insight into his clinical work.
